We bashed out a quick weekend session in our subteranean domain of some strange new tunes including a great single with Kevin's "Simple Machine." Hopefully that stuff gets mixed soon by somebody.
Then of course we are recording our show at the Abbey Lounge. I guess that will need to be mixed too. (who is mixing all this... that is news to me).
Meanwhile, Jim is mixing like baker at dawn on a number of new tunes, re-records and re-mixes for a forthcoming collection CD tentatively called 'the best of mercy james?' which should see the light of day sometime this year. It's gonna hit the cutout section of your dying record store in the near future.
